Our Story Continued
After seeing each other at a show and hearing even more things about each other from their friends, both of their interests were piqued and they began texting the next day. Soon after, the texts turned into evening calls and talks of planning to spend time together one on one.
Their first date lasted 12 hours and consisted of delicious steamed pork buns, endless conversation, curated playlists, and tearfully happy prayers. They both left knowing they were onto something truly unique. The next day, which happened to be Easter Sunday, the couple went to the Mt. Washington Arboretum where they saw a beautiful array of newly bloomed daffodils. In this moment they knew what was happening was perfect, special and an answer to long-awaited prayers.
After a few months of many more remarkable moments together, Paige and Brody knew they were forever. Brody moved to Baltimore, where they bought a 1900s yellow and blue Victorian house to call their own. On October 13th, Brody recreated their first date then led Paige to the Mt. Washington Arboretum where he surprised her with her grandmother's ring under beautiful twinkle lights and asked her to be his wife.
Brody and Paige can't wait to write the next chapter of their lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Barbour!
